Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan event organizer (EO) di Salatiga. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 38 karyawan EO di Salatiga. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipilih adalah dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala organizational citizenship behavior yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi OCB menurut Organ (1988) dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,903 dan menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosi yang disusun berdasarkan aspek kecerdasan emosi menurut Goleman (2002) dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,712. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa r = 0.518; p <0.01. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan organizational citizenship behavior. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat kecerdasan emosi karyawan, maka semakin tinggi tingkat organizational citizenship behavior mereka. Dengan begitu, dapat diketahui bahwa variable kecerdasan emosi mempunyai peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan organizational citizenship behavior karyawan event organizer di Salatiga. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior in event organizer (EO) employees in Salatiga. The subjects in this study amounted to 38 EO employees in Salatiga. The sampling technique chosen is to use the saturated sample technique. The data collection method in this study used an organizational citizenship behavior scale based on the OCB dimension according to Organ (1988) with a reliability coefficient of 0.903 and used an emotional intelligence scale based on emotional intelligence aspects according to Goleman (2002) with a reliability coefficient of 0.712. Data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that r = 0.518; p < 0.01. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior. This means that the higher the level of emotional intelligence of employees, the higher the level of their organizational citizenship behavior. That way, it can be seen that the emotional intelligence variable has a significant role in improving organizational citizenship behavior of event organizer employees in Salatiga. |
