Abstract: ABSTRAK Guru merupakan profesi yang bersifat professional, keberhasilan dalam dunia pendidikan juga ditentukan oleh seberapa jauh kesiapan dari guru tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru selama Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 128 guru SD Negeri Kecamatan “XX” dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan indikator pelaksanaan Penilaian Kinerja Guru (PKG) dan Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale (SEIS). Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman Correlation menunjukan nilai koefisien r=0,653 (p<0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan “XX”. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya guru meningkatkan aspek kecerdasan emosional untuk mengontrol diri maupun peserta didik, sehingga menjadikan kinerja guru semakin lebih baik dalam menghadapi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). ABSTRACT The teacher is a profession that is professional, success in the world of education is also determined by how far the readiness of the teacher. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher performance during Distance Learning (PJJ). This study used a sample of 128 elementary school teachers in the "XX" district with a saturated sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study used indicators for the implementation of the Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) and the Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale (SEIS). The results of the analysis using the Spearman Correlation technique showed the coefficient value of r = 0.653 (p <0.05) meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the performance of State Elementary School teachers in "XX" District. The implication of this research is the need for teachers to improve aspects of emotional intelligence to control themselves and students, so as to make teacher performance better in dealing with Distance Learning (PJJ).
