Analisis Pengaruh Unsur Daya Tarik Host Tonight Show Premiere Terhadap Minat Menonton Subscriber

Abstract

Tonight Show Premiere merupakan program talkshow malam yang tayang perdana pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2013 dan menjadi salah satu program Net TV yang digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia dan dibawakan oleh Vincent Ryan Rompies dan Dedi Mahendra Desta (sebagai host), Hesti Purwadinata dan Enzy Storia (sebagai co-host). Keempat host selalu dinantikan oleh pemirsa Tonight Show Premiere karena kekocakan mereka dan chemistry yang terbangun secara natural dan juga mendapatkan support yang maksimal dari band pengiringnya (My Own Music) serta seluruh creative crew. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan pengaruh unsur daya tarik host Tonight Show Premiere terhadap minat menonton subscriber. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Pada penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel, yaitu variabel unsur daya tarik host Tonight Show Premiere (X) terdapat 3 (tiga) indikator yang meliputi mempengaruhi, menarik perhatian, dan kekuatan. Selanjutnya variabel minat menonton subscriber (Y) terdapat 5 (lima) indikator yang meliputi perhatian, perasaan, keingintahuan, kesiapan bertindak, dan kecenderungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,799 yang artinya kekuatan hubungan antar variabel X dan Y tergolong sangat kuat dan searah. Analisis unsur daya tarik host Tonight Show Premiere terhadap minat menonton subscriber memiliki persentase sebesar 63,90% sedangkan 36,10% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Berdasakan nilai probabilitas data pada tabel ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa, nilai probabilitas 0,000 dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka sesuai dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan pada analisis ANOVA didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak.

Tonight Show Premiere is a night talk show program that premiered on August 31, 2013 and became one of the Net TV programs favored by the Indonesian people and was presented by Vincent Ryan Rompies and Dedi Mahendra Desta (as hosts), Hesti Purwadinata and Enzy Storia (as co-hosts). The four hosts are always awaited by the Tonight Show Premiere viewers because of their humor and natural chemistry and also get maximum support from the accompanying band (My Own Music) and the entire creative crew. The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of the attractiveness of the Tonight Show Premiere host on the interest in watching subscribers. This study uses quantitative research methods with simple linear regression analysis. In this study there are two variables, namely the element of attractiveness of the Tonight Show Premiere host (X) there are 3 (three) indicators which include influencing, attracting attention, and strength. Furthermore, the variable of interest in watching subscribers (Y) has 5 (five) indicators which include attention, feelings, curiosity, readiness to act, and tendencies. The results of this study indicate the value of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.799, which means that the strength of the relationship between the variables X and Y is classified as very strong and unidirectional. The analysis of the attractiveness of the Tonight Show Premiere host on the interest in watching subscribers has a percentage of 63.90% while the remaining 36.10% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. Based on the probability value of the data in the ANOVA table, it shows that the probability value is 0.000 where the value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), then according to the basis for decision making in the ANOVA analysis, it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
