Abstract: Adanya pandemi telah berimbas di berbagai sektor industri di Indonesia terutama pada karyawan kontrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara job insecurity dengan employee well-being pada karyawan kontrak di masa pandemi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan kontrak PT X, sejumlah 97 orang. Responden dipilih secara purposive dengan pertimbangan karyawan kontrak tersebut berusia ≥ 25 tahun dan telah bekerja selama minimal 2 tahun. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala ketidakamanan kerja yang disusun oleh De Witte (2000) dan skala kesejahteraan karyawan yang disusun oleh Zheng (2015). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara job insecurity dan employee well-being pada karyawan kontrak, dengan r = -0,822 (p < 0,05). Dari hasil tersebut, dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi job insecurity, maka akan semakin rendah employee well-being karyawan kontrak
The pandemic had an impact in various industrial sectors in Indonesia, especially on contract employees. This study aims to determine the relationship between job insecurity and employee well-being in contract employees. The population in this investigation is contract employees of PT X, a total of 97people. Respondents were selected purposively on the consideration that the contract employee was ≥ 25 years old and had worked for at least 2 years. The data capture in this study was carried out using the job insecurity scale compiled by De Witte (2000) and the employee well- being scale compiled by Zheng (2015). The results showed a significant negative correlation between job insecurity and employee well-being in contract employees, with r = -0.822 (p < 0.05). From these results, it can be interpreted that the higher the job insecurity, the lower the employee well-being of the contract employee
