Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Sapi Potong (Studi Pada Berkah Sapi di Desa Pulutan Kecamatan Sidorejo Kota Salatiga)

Abstract

Berkah Sapi merupakan usaha pribadi yang dimiliki oleh Bpk H. Subadi. Dari awal berdirinya usaha Berkah Sapi Salatiga memiliki permasalahan pada proses penjualan. Pemilihan dan penerapan strategi yang tepat dalam proses pengembangan akan sangat mempengaruhi kinerja usaha Berkah Sapi. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengetahui (1) faktor penentu keberhasilan dalam pengembangan usaha Berkah Sapi di Desa Pulutan Kecamatan Sidorejo, Kota Salatiga dan (2) strategi pengembangan usaha Berkah Sapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Maret tahun 2022. Responden yang digunakan adalah key informant (Bpk H. Muhammad Rofiq), informant 1 (ibu Hjh. Sri Sundari) dan informant 2 (Muhammad Aditya). Dari hasil penelitian ini faktor utama keberhasilan usaha Berkah Sapi Salatiga ialah ; (1) Tempat dan kualitas daging sapi; dan (2) pemasaran produk,. Pengembangan usaha Berkah Sapi menggunakan strategi SO (Strength- Opportunities), yakni mempunyai tempat strategis dan kualitas daging yang fresh. Dengan adanya strategi tersebut Berkah Sapi juga harus memperhatikan dalam proses promosi penjualan hingga perawatan ternak. Nilai IFAS sebesar 0,72 dan EFAS sebesar 0,16 yang menunjukan Berkah Sapi berada di kuadran 1 progresif yaitu tumbuh dan berkembang. Berkah Sapi harus tetap memperhatikan kebersihan kandang untuk menjamin kesehatan dan kualitas daging sapi agar konsumen semakin meningkat dan menambah pangsa pasar. Selain itu Berkah Sapi harus melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya mengkonsumsi daging sapi.

Berkah Sapi is a personal business owned by Mr. H. Subadi. From the very beginning, the Salatiga Blessing Cow business had problems in the sales process. The selection and application of the right strategy in the development process will greatly affect the performance of Berkah Sapi's business. This study has the aim of knowing (1) the determinants of success in developing the Berkah Sapi business in Pulutan Village, Sidorejo District, Salatiga City and (2) the strategy for developing the Berkah Sapi business. This research was conducted from January to March 2022. The respondents used were key informant (Mr. H. Muhammad Rofiq), informant 1 (mother Hjh. Sri Sundari) and informant 2 (Muhammad Aditya). From the results of this study, the main factors for the success of the Salatiga Beef Blessing business are; (1) Place and quality of beef; and (2) product marketing. The development of the Berkah Sapi business uses the SO (Strength-Opportunities) strategy, which is to have a strategic location and fresh meat quality. With this strategy, Berkah Sapi must also pay attention to the sales promotion process to livestock care. The IFAS value is 0.72 and the EFAS is 0.16 which shows Blessing Cows are in quadrant 1 progressive, namely growing and developing. Berkah Sapi must continue to pay attention to the cleanliness of the cage to ensure the health and quality of beef so that consumers will increase and increase market share. In addition, Berkah Sapi must educate the public on the importance of consuming beef.
