Abstract: ‘’Senar Sungsang” yang memiliki makna senar terbalik, merupakan judul dari resital solo gitar sebagai bentuk dari hasil pembelajaran dan penelitian penulis dalam menyusun Tugas Akhir Penyaji Musik di Prodi Seni Musik Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Sungsang dalam etimologi jawa merujuk pada bayi yang lahir dengan posisi badan terbalik. Kata”Senar Sungsang” dipilih untuk mendeskripsikan metode baru dalam gitar klasik yaitu teknik senar terbalik terhadap repertoar yang dipilih untuk resital. Terdapat delapan repertoar dengan tingkat kesulitan yang beragam untuk komposisi solo gitar pada periode renaisans hingga modern. Pada periode Renaisans terdapat satu repertoar yaitu‘”Fantasie No.7” karya John Dowland. Dua repertoar dari era Barok yaitu “Lute Suite no.4 in E Mayor BWV 1006a” , dan‘’Chaconne’’ karya Johann Sebastian Bach. Dua repertoar dari periode Klasik yaitu "Introduction and Variation on a theme by Mozart Op.9” karya Fernando Sor, “6 Variations on Folies d’Espagne Op.45” karya Mauro Giuliani. Dua repertoar dari periode Romantik yaitu ‘‘Maxixe’’ dan ‘’La Catedral’’ karya .Agustin Barrios Mangore. Satu repertoar musik etnis Nusantara yaitu Yamko Rambe Yamko. Repertoar yang dipilih dalam resital ini merupakan hasil proses pembelajaran mayor gitar selama menempuh perkuliahan di Prodi Seni Musik UKSW
“Senar Sungsang” which means reversed string, is the title of a guitar solo recital as a form of the results of the author's learning and research in compiling the Final Project of Music Presenter at the Satya Wacana Christian University Music Arts Study Program. Sungsang in Javanese etymology refers to a baby born in an inverted body position. The word "Senar Sungsang" was chosen to describe a new method in classical guitar, namely the reverse string technique of the repertoire chosen for the recital. There are eight repertoires of varying difficulty for guitar solo compositions from the renaissance to modern periods. During the Renaissance period there was one repertoire, namely John Dowland's “Fantasie No.7”. Two repertoires from the Baroque era are “Lute Suite no.4 in E Mayor BWV 1006a” and ''Chaconne'' by Johann Sebastian Bach. Two repertoires from the Classical period are "Introduction and Variation on a theme by Mozart Op.9" by Fernando Sor, "6 Variations on Folies d'Espagne Op.45" by Mauro Giuliani. Two repertoires from the Romantic period are ''Maxixe'' and ''La Catedral'' by Agustin Barrios Mangore. A repertoire of ethnic Indonesian music, namely Yamko Rambe Yamko. The repertoire selected for this recital is the result of the guitar major learning process while studying at the SWCU Music Arts Study Program.
