Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and coping with stress, which focused on the problem of students working on their thesis. This research is quantitative research with a correlational design. Participants accepted 52 students who are working on a thesis at the SWCU Psychology Faculty. Data analysis using Pearson's product-moment correlation technique shows a value of r = 0.831 and a significance value of 0.000 (p≤0.05), which means that there is a positive relationship between academic self-efficacy and problem-focused coping in students who are working on their thesis. The higher the academic self-efficacy of students who are working on their thesis, the higher/better the problem-focused coping, and vice versa. |
