Abstract: | Selada (Lactuca sativa L.) merupakan komoditi sayuran hortikultura yang memiliki nilai jual yang cukup tinggi, karena semakin meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan kebutuhan gizi menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan akan sayuran. Air merupakan faktor esensial dan paling berpengaruh untuk pertumbuhan tanaman selada dalam proses fiosologi, fotosintesis dan respirasi. Irigasi tetes adalah teknologi yang dapat mengalirkan air dengan cara meneteskan air dengan mengatur debit sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman. Perlakuan periode pemberian air, erat hubungannya dengan tingkat ketersediaan air pada tanah, sehingga perlu diketahui frekuensi pemberian air yang sesuai terhadap respon tanaman selada agar dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan, produksi, dan kualitas tanaman selada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui saat pemberian irigasi tetes yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui perlakuan 3 dengan pemberian irigasi tetes saat pagi hari (06.00-06.40) selama 40 menit dan saat sore (17.00-17.50) selama 50 menit memiliki pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada dari pada perlakuan lainnya. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a horticultural vegetable product that has a fairly high commercial value as the growing public awareness of its dietary needs has caused an increase in demand for the vegetable. Water is an essential and influential factor in the growth of lettuce plants in the processes of physiology, photosynthesis and respiration. Drip irrigation is a technique that allows water to be bypassed through drip by adjusting the flow according to the plant's needs. Since the timing of watering is closely related to the amount of water in the soil, it is necessary to know the frequency of watering according to the response of lettuce in order to improve the growth, production, and quality of lettuce. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal time to apply drip irrigation for lettuce growth and yield. A randomized block (RBD) design was used in this study. The study consisted of 6 treatments. Each treatment he repeated four times. The results of this study showed that treatment 3 with drip irrigation for 40 minutes in the morning (06.00-06.40) and 50 minutes in the afternoon (17.00-17.50) had a highly significant effect on lettuce growth and yield over the other treatments. showed that there is . |
