Abstract: Fenologi merupakan peristiwa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman yang terjadi secara alami dan dipengaruhi oleh keadaan lingkungan sekitar, seperti faktor cuaca, suhu udara, curah hujan, dan kelembaban udara. Saat masak fisiologis adalah kondisi waktu panen paling tepat untuk mendapatkan kualitas mutu benih terbaik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 1) Mengetahui pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman dan 2) Penetapan saat kemasakan fisiologis benih kedelai varietas Gamasugen 2. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Kadirejo, Kec. Pabelan mulai Juni - Agustus 2022 dengan menggunakan dua jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Pengamatan fenologi sesuai kriteria yang tercantum pada deskripsi varietas KEMENTAN 4388/Kpts/SR.120/6/2013. Produksi benih kedelai hanya 1.63+0.06 ton/ha, lebih rendah dari deskripsi varietas (2.4 ton/ha). Masak fisiologis benih kedelai varietas Gamasugen 2 dicapai saat umur 69 HST
Phenology is an event of plant growth and development that occurs naturally and influenced by environmental conditions, such as weather factors, air temperature, rainfall, and humidity. Physiological ripening is the most appropriate harvest time to get the best seed quality. The purpose of this study is to determine 1) growth and development of plants, 2) the physiological maturity of soybean seed Gamasugen-2 varieties. This research was conducted in Kadirejo village, Pabelan district, from June -August 2022 using two types of research, descriptive and quantitative. Phenological observations according to the criteria listed in the description of varieties decree of the Minister of Agriculture 4388/Kpts/SR.120/6/2013. Quantitative research was carried out by germination testing to determine the physiological maturity of soybean seeds based on viability (Germination), vigor (Synchrony of Growth), and decrease in Moisture Content of soybean seeds during the seed maturity phase. The results showed that 1) Soybean seed production was only 1.63+0.06 ton/ha, lower than the description of the variety (2.4 ton/ha). Physiological maturity of soybean seeds of Gamasugen-2 variety was reached at 69 d.a.p.
