The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 in Indonesia had an impact on the lives of mankind. Activities that are usually carried out face-to-face immediately turn into online-based activities to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, including Christian worship activities. The Covid-19 pandemic requires church to adapt the changes e.g., the use of technology as a medium of worship for their people. It is undeniable that recent technological advances have greatly helped the community, especially the church, in carrying out their responsibilities to serve their people. Technological advances affect the role of church services, especially funeral services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Church must still carry out its ministerial role when circumstances are not possible for people to perform worship together face-to-face. This study aims to determine using ecclesiological studies the role of the GPIB Kinasih church in funeral services during the Covid-19 pandemic which was carried out online. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and the data used in this study obtained through interviews with several informants, such as the Pastor, crisis center team leader, multimedia teams, and family members of the late GPIB Kinasih people. The results of this study show that GPIB Kinasih church remains consistent in carrying out its ministerial role during the Covid-19 pandemic.
