Keberhasilan 3CM (Cool, Critical, Creative, Meaningfull) Learning dalam Meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ada di SDN Tingkir Tentah 01 yaitu proses pembelajaran yang belum dapat mengasah kreativitas siswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang belum memberikan ruang yang cukup untuk berkreasi, dimana guru menggunakan metode transfer knowledge. Selain itu, siswa tidak terbiasa dihadapkan pada permasalahan-permasalahan open ended dan guru hanya memberikan latihan soal rutin yang memiliki satu jawaban tunggal. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti berkolaborasi dengan guru kelas IV SDN Tingkir Tengah 01 untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan dengan tujuan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran agar dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa di kelas tersebut. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran 3CM (Cool, Critical, Creative, Meaningfull) yang tidak hanya memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya pada siswa untuk berkreasi namun juga menekankan arti penting untuk membuat siswa tertantang sebelum menuntut siswa berkreasi adalah model pembelajaran 3CM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran 3CM selama 2 siklus telah berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas IV SDN Tingkir Tengah 01. Tidak hanya kreativitas saja yang meningkat, tetapi model pembelajaran 3CM juga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SDN Tingkir Tengah 01.

One of the problems in SDN Tingkir Tendah 01 is the learning process has not been able to sharpen student creativity. This is caused by the learning process has not provided enough space for creativity, where the teacher uses the transfer of knowledge method. Moreover, students are not used to being faced with open ended problems and the teacher only gives routine practice questions that have one single answer. To overcome these problems, researchers collaborated with 4th grade teacher at SDN Tingkir Tengah 01 to conduct action research with the aim of improving the learning process in order to increase the creativity of students in the class. To answer these problems, the researcher uses the 3CM (Cool, Critical, Creative, Meaningfull) learning model which not only provides the widest opportunity for students to be creative but also emphasizes the importance of making students challenged before demanding students to be creative is the 3CM learning model. The results showed that the application of the 3CM learning model for 2 cycles had succeeded in increasing the creativity of 4th grade students at SDN Tingkir Tengah 01. Not only did creativity increase, but the 3CM learning model was also able to improve student learning outcomes at SDN Tingkir Tengah 01.
