dc.description.abstract | Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan yang dilakukan peserta didik jenjang SMP/MTs kelas VIII dalam menyelesaikan soal bentuk aljabar berdasarkan jenis kesalahan Kastolan dan pemberian scaffolding sebagai solusinya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas VIII MTs NU Ungaran yang memiliki indikator kelompok atas, kelompok sedang, dan kelompok bawah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 3 jenis kesalahan yaitu kesalahan konseptual, kesalahan prosedural, dan kesalahan teknik. Indikator kesalahan dan pemberian scaffolding pada setiap siswa berbeda. Scaffolding level 1 pada tahap menyiapkan kondisi belajar dapat diberikan pada peserta didik yang melakukan kesalahan teknik dan prosedural. Kesalahan tersebut meliputi ketidaktelitian peserta didik dalam memahami informasi soal, tidak teliti dalam mengoperasikan bentuk aljabar, dan ketidaktepatan cara yang digunakan. Scaffolding level 1 pada tahap berkelompok dan bekerjasama dengan teman sebaya dapat diberikan pada peserta didik yang melakukan kesalahan prosedural yang meliputi kesalahan dalam menentukan operasi bentuk aljabar. Scaffolding level 2 yaitu meliputi explaining, reviewing, dan restructuring diberikan pada peserta didik yang melakukan kesalahan konseptual karena peserta didik tidak mampu memahami soal dan menentukan cara untuk menyelesaikan soal. | id |
dc.description.abstract | This qualitative descriptive research aims to analyze the mistakes made by students at the junior high school / MTs class VIII level in solving algebraic form problems based on the type of Kastolan error and giving scaffolding as a solution. The subjects of this study were 3 students of class VIII MTs NU Ungaran who had indicators of the upper group, medium group, and lower group. Based on the study results, 3 types of errors were found, conceptual, procedural, and engineering. The indicators of error and scaffolding in each student are different. Scaffolding level 1 at the stage of preparing learning conditions can be given to learners who make technical and procedural mistakes. These errors include the inaccuracy of students in understanding the information of the problem, not being careful in operating algebraic forms, and inaccuracy in the method used. Scaffolding level 1 at the group stage and in collaboration with peers can be given to learners who commit procedural errors including errors in determining the operation of algebraic forms. Scaffolding level 2, which includes explaining, reviewing, and restructuring, is given to students who make conceptual mistakes because students are unable to understand the problem and determine how to solve the problem. | en |
