Abstract: Speed and stability of data transfer is needed by companies which use a program to transfer data in a real time. In this case, they need to build a back up link systems to keep the connection is maintained smoothly. Ethernet bonding is one of the solutions for data transfer performance and optimization in computer networks. Ethernet bonding consists of several modes, there are the active backup, balance xor, broadcast, 802.ad, balance tlb, and balance alb. This research method uses a comparison technique results obtained from the results of testing some of the bonding mode between RouterOS and CentOS then will be analyzed the best bonding results. The aim of using Ethernet bonding is to design a network system that can provide security, speed, and stability in data transfer. The performance of an ethernet bonding will not be significant in a slow data transfer rate.
