dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan multikultural serta mendeskripsikan peran guru di PAUD Syaloom Dendengan Dalam Manado ditinjau secara sosio-pedagogis. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang dilakukan melalui wawancara kepada kepala sekolah, guru, orangtua murid, serta masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan multikultural telah dilakukan, baik dengan pendekatan kontribusi lewat menyusun materi belajar sesuai pedoman kurikulum dengan pendekatan pendidikan multikultural serta pendekatan aditif yang ditunjukkan dengan membuat tema khusus di momen tertentu dengan menggunakan pendekatan pendidikan multikultural. Guru berperan sebagai pendorong sekaligus contoh bagi naradidik dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural. Guru juga menjadi pihak yang berperan penting dalam mengkomunikasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural kepada orang tua. Dalam prosesnya, dukungan dari orang tua dan masyarakat sebagai komponen pendidikan juga sangat penting agar implementasi pendidikan multikultural tidak hanya sampai pada tataran wacana saja tetapi juga dapat dipraktikkan dalam keseharian. | id |
dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education and to describe the role of teachers in PAUD Syaloom Dendengan Dalam Manado from a socio-pedagogical perspective. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach which was conducted through interviews with school principals, teachers, parents, and the community living around the school. The results show that the implementation of multicultural education has been carried out, both with a contribution approach through compiling learning materials according to curriculum guidelines with a multicultural education approach and an additive approach which is indicated by creating special themes at certain moments using a multicultural education approach. The teacher acts as a motivator as well as an example for students in applying the values of multicultural education. Teachers also play an important role in communicating the values of multicultural education to parents. In the process, support from parents and the community as a component of education is also very important so that the implementation of multicultural education does not only reach the level of discourse but can also be practiced in daily life. | en |
