Title: Pengembangan Model Supervisi VGC (Virtual Community and Gallery Walk in Collegial Supervision) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengajar Guru

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan model supervisi kolegial melalui gallery walk dengan membentuk komunitas virtual. R and D yang dilakukan ini menggunakan model (Borg and Gall, 2003) hingga tahap kelima. Subjek penelitian 6 guru ahli sebagai supervisor dan 6 guru yang disupervisi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan lembaran pedoman wawancara, angket, studi dokumetasi, dan lembaran pedoman FGD. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta uji Mann – Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) kegiatan supervisi akademik di SMAN 2 Toraja Utara telah dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah dengan dibantu Wakasek dan guru-guru kompeten melalui kunjungan kelas dan pengamatan langsung; 2) Kelemahan supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan selama ini yaitu pemberian tindak lanjut belum dilakukan, pertemuan awal kadang tidak dilakukan, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan supervisi kadang tidak sesuai dengan jadwal yang ditentukan sebelumnya; 3) Model supervisi akademik yang dikembangkan adalah model supervisi VGC (Virtual Community and Gallery Walk in Collegial Supervison) yang terdiri dari gambar model supervisi VGC beserta jabarannya, virtual community dengan menggunakan google classroom dan buku panduan penggunaan model. Model yang dihasilkan ini sudah layak dan dapat diterapkan dalam bidang pendidikan bukan hanya di SMAN 2 Toraja Utara tetapi juga di sekolah-sekolah lainnya, terbukti dari hasil validasi dan uji coba produk dinilai sangat layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar guru.
The aim of this research is to develop and produce a model of collegial supervision through gallery walks by forming virtual communities. This R and D was carried out using a model (Borg and Gall, 2003) up to the fifth stage. The research subjects were 6 expert teachers as supervisors and 6 supervised teachers. The data collection techniques used were interview guide sheets, questionnaires, documentation studies, and FGD guide sheets. The collected data were analyzed descriptive–qualitative and quantitative by using Mann – Whitney test. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that: 1) activities academic supervision at SMAN 2 Toraja Utara has been carried out by the school principal with the assistance of the Vice Principal and competent teachers through class visits and direct observation; 2) Weaknesses in the academic supervision carried out so far, namely that follow-up has not been carried out, initial meetings are sometimes not held, and the implementation of supervision activities is sometimes not according to a predetermined schedule; 3) The academic supervision model developed is the VGC (Virtual Community and Gallery Walk in Collegial Supervison) supervision model which consists of pictures of the VGC supervision model and its descriptions, virtual community using google classroom and a manual for using the model
