Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on a number of areas, such as in the field of education. The implementation of the teaching and learning process is currently going through an adaptation phase across all areas of the education system. The effects of online teaching and learning are various, but one effect is the anxiety that students feel. The purpose of this study was to identify what kinds of anxiety second-year ELE UKSW students experienced while learning online. An interview with five students was the starting point for the data analysis. The results showed the variety of anxiety experienced by those taking part in online learning during the COVID-19 epidemic. The two most frequent causes are pupils' comprehension of the teacher's subject and the accessibility of an internet connection.
