Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Efektivitas Ibadah Online Terhadap Spiritualitas Jemaat

Abstract

Fenomena beribadah di rumah tampak di banyak tempat di Indonesia termasuk dalam lingkup Gereja yang disebabkan karena situasi pandemi coronavirus yang berlangsung sejak akhir tahun 2019. Gereja New Normal dalam konteks Ibadah rumah ini menjadi sesuatu yang baru bagi jemaat dan juga gereja atas desakan aturan pemerintah yang berlaku pada masa itu. Situasi ini membuat gereja perlu memikirkan kembali strategi supaya ibadah yang dilakukan dirumah dapat efektif sebagaimana ibadah onsite agar jemaat tetap mengalami pertumbuhan spiritualitas. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut terdapat 6 rumusan masalah yaitu apakah faktor persiapan gereja, liturgi ibadah, motivasi jemaat dan persekutuan keluarga mempengaruhi efektivitas ibadah; selanjutnya apakah efektivitas ibadah mempengaruhi spiritualitas jemaat; dan apakah terdapat pengaruh faktor persiapan gereja, liturgi ibadah, motivasi jemaat dan persekutuan keluarga terhadap spiritualitas jemaat melalui efektifitas ibadah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh keempat faktor terhadap spiritualitas jemaat melalui efektifitas ibadah sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa efektivitas ibadah tidak berhasil memediasi faktor persiapan gereja, liturgi ibadah, dan motivasi jemaat terhadap spiritualitas jemaat.

The phenomenon of worship at home is seen in many places in Indonesia, including within the scope of the Church, which was caused by the corona virus pandemic situation that has been going on since the end of 2019. The New Normal Church in the context of house worship is something new for the congregation and also the church at the insistence of government regulations that happened at that time. This situation makes the church need to rethink its strategy so that worship that is carried out at home can be as effective as onsite worship so that the congregation continues to experience spiritual growth. Based on this background, there are 6 formulations of the problem, namely whether the factors of church preparation, worship liturgy, congregational motivation and family fellowship affect the effectiveness of worship; next, does the effectiveness of worship affect the spirituality of the congregation; and whether there is influence of church preparation factors, worship liturgy, congregational motivation and family fellowship on the congregation's spirituality through the effectiveness of worship. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the four factors influence the spirituality of the congregation through the effectiveness of worship as a mediating variable. The method used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of worship does not succeed in mediating the factors of church preparation, worship liturgy, and congregational motivation towards congregational spirituality.
