Persepsi Anak Muda Kota Salatiga Mengenai 5M Setelah Menonton #DPOCorona Bintang Emon

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu untuk menjawab bagaimana persepsi anak muda Kota Salatiga mengenai 5M setelah menonton “#DPOCorona” Bintang Emon di twitter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori persepsi dimana peneliti menggunakan tiga tahap persepsi yaitu Seleksi, Organisasi, Interpretasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa video yang mengangkat tema tentang Corona ini mendapat respon yang beragam dari informan khususnya dalam hal persepsi. Seluruh responden menyatakan bahwa video Bintang Emon memberi perubahan dalam persepsi terkait Covid-19 karena gaya penyampaian yang ceplas ceplos dan narasinya yang dibangun menggunakan pendekatan komedi. This study aims to answer the formulation of the problem, namely to answer how the young people of Salatiga City perceive 5M after watching “#DPOCorona” Bintang Emon on Twitter. This research is qualitative research using perception theory where researchers use three stages of perception namely Selection, Organization, Interpretation. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the video with the theme of Corona received various responses from informants, especially in terms of perception. All respondents stated that the Bintang Emon video had changed perceptions regarding Covid-19 because of the straightforward delivery style and the narration which was built using a comedic approach.
