Kepemimpinan Pemuda Aras Sinodal Sebagai Role Model Kepemimpinan Pemuda Gereja Batak Karo Protestan Runggun Pasar VI Klasis Medan Pancur Batu: Kajian Kepemimpinan Transformatif

Abstract

Pemuda adalah seseorang yang masuk ke dalam fase dewasa, hal ini ditandai dengan segala organismenya yang telah matang. Kepemimpinan merupakan proses dimana seseorang dapat mempengaruhi orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Menjadi pribadi yang dewasa tentunya pemuda juga akan menjadi seorang pemimpin. Perilaku pemuda akan menenentukan bagaimana mereka menjalankan sistem kepemimpinan yang baik dan benar. Empat indikator seseorang dapat menjadi pemimpin yang memiliki sistem kepemimpinan yang transformatif/perubahan, bagaimana mereka dapat memberikan pengaruh yang idealis terhadap para pengikutnya, memberikan motivasi inspiratif, stimulus intelektual dan pertimbangan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa bagaimana Kepemimpinan Pemuda Aras Sinodal sebagai Role Model Kepemimpinan Pemuda Gereja Batak Karo Protestan Runggun Pasar VI Klasis Medan Pancur Batu Kajian Kepemimpinan Transformatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatf menggunakan model pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara. Terdapat delapan responden yang ditentukan antara lain lima pengurus pemuda runggun Pasar VI, dua pengurus pemuda aras sinodal dan satu pendeta jemaat runggun Pasar VI. Dari hasil penelitian memperlihatkan responden memiliki pandangan yang baik terkait sistem kepemimpinan yang ada pada pengurus pemuda aras sinodal. Namun ada beberapa kendala yang terdapat di dalam kepemimpinan pemuda runggun ketika hendak menjalankan sistem kepemimpinan aras sinodal. Kendala tersebut seperti kurangnya minat dari pemuda dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas mereka, keaktifan pemuda runggun sangat rendah, kurangnya sikap tegas dari pengurus pemuda runggun dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dan pengambilan keputusan sehingga masih ada pengelompokan di dalam pemuda runggun. Dengan adanya kendala tersebut pemuda runggun tidak berhenti begitu saja, tetapi mereka tetap berusaha. Hal ini juga sudah diketahui oleh pemuda aras sinodal, maka dari itu antara pemuda runggun dan pemuda aras sinodal akan sama-sama mendorong dan memperbaikinya.

Youth is someone who enters into the adult phase, which is characterized by the organisms that are already mature. Leadership is a process where one person can influence others to achieve the intended goal. Youth themselves can become leaders by being mature. It is the Youth's behavior that will determine if they could carry out a proper and correct leadership system. There are four indicators that a person can be a leader that could provide a transformative leadership system, those indicators are the way they provide idealistic influence on their followers, giving inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulus, and individual consideration. This study aims to describe and analyze how is the leadership of Synodal Youth Category as a Role Model of Youth Leadership for the Batak Karo Protestant Church Runggun Pasar VI Klasis Medan Pancur Batu Transformative Leadership Study. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a descriptive analysis approach model. Data for this research were collected using interviews. The researcher selected eight participants for this study, including five youth administrators of runggun Pasar VI, two synodal youth administrators, and the priest of the runggun Pasar VI congregation. The results show that the respondents had a good view of the leadership system in the Synodal youth category board. However, there are obstacles acknowledged in the leadership of the runggun's youth when they went to carry out the synodal level leadership system. These includes the lack of interest from the youth in carrying out their duties, the very limited activeness of the runggun's youth, and the severe lack of strict attitude from the runggun's youth management in solving problems and making decisions resulting in the formations of different groups within the runggun's youth itself. However, despite these obstacles, the runggun's youth did not just stop nor end, rather, they kept trying. This is also known by the synodal youth category, therefore both the youth's runggun and the synodal youth category will continue to push improve it.
