dc.description.abstractHotels need to carry out publications to increase consumer brand awareness of the products and services offered and to achieve this goal hotels can utilize media such as Instagram in order to achieve wider publicity. Four Points by Sheraton Manado is a hotel that consistently publishes messages via Instagram. By looking at the consistency of the Four Points by Sheraton Manado hotel in publishing on Instagram, this study aims to find out the meaning of what messages Four Points by Sheraton Manado communicates through Instagram and the strategy of the Four Points by Sheraton Manado hotel in increasing brand awareness through Instagram. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with content analysis techniques. The results of this study found that Four Points by Sheraton Manado uses four types of content, namely informational content, entertaining content, connection content, and promotion content with the main message about the hotel's unique selling point. The strategy used by Four Points by Sheraton to increase brand awareness through Instagram is to publish about the hotel's unique selling points, use editorial photos, hold contests and trivia quizzes, and do paid advertising on Instagram.en
dc.description.abstractHotel perlu melakukan publikasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek konsumen terhadap produk dan jasa yang ditawarkan dan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut hotel dapat memanfaatkan media seperti Instagram supaya dapat mencapai publikasi yang lebih luas. Four Points by Sheraton Manado merupakan hotel yang konsisten melakukan publikasi pesan melalui Instagram. Dengan melihat konsistensi hotel Four Points by Sheraton Manado dalam melakukan publikasi di Instagram, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna pesan seperti apa yang dikomunikasikan Four Points by Sheraton Manado melalui Instagram dan strategi hotel Four Points by Sheraton Manado dalam meningkatkan brand awareness melalui Instagram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Four Points by Sheraton Manado menggunakan empat jenis konten yaitu informational content, entertaining content, connection content, dan promotion content dengan pesan utama tentang unique selling point hotel. Strategi yang digunakan Four Points by Sheraton untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek melalui Instagram adalah melakukan publikasi tentang unique selling point hotel, menggunakan editorial photo, mengadakan contest dan trivia quiz, dan melakukan iklan berbayar di Instagram.id
