Coronavirus is the largest group of viruses in the order Nidovirales. The nature of coronaviruses that easily infect humans and easily spread to almost all corners of the world causes this disease to be called a pandemic. This pandemic has had a devastating impact on people's lives globally. Individuals who are able to survive and recover from COVID-19 are called COVID-19 survivors. This study aims to identify and analyze the religious orientation and coping strategies of COVID-19 survivors in HKBP Semarang Barat which will be studied from the perspective of the psychology of religion. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research model. The data collection technique used interview techniques on five participants as COVID-19 survivors of the Delta variant. It was found that COVID-19 had various impacts on participants, such as impacts on physical health, and psychological, social, and economic. The results of this study indicate that participants have an intrinsic religious orientation as shown through their religious maturity, religious motivation, reported religious behavior, and religiosity and spirituality assessed by participants. In dealing with the pressure caused by COVID-19, participants in this study have a positive religious coping strategy with the Collaborative religious coping type. The most frequently practiced religious coping method is prayer. In addition to praying, participants in this study also performed other religious rituals or activities as an implementation of religious copings, such as reading the Bible, listening to sermons from YouTube, listening to spiritual songs, morning and evening devotional time, and attending PA (Bible Study) services through the Zoom application.
