Abstract: | Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran yang banyak dibudidayakan oleh petani di dataran tinggi. Penggunaan tumpangsari mengurangi resiko kerugian, meningkatkan produktivitas lahan, penggunaan sumberdaya secara efisien, dan penggunaan tanaman legume akan meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meengetahui pengaruh metode tumpang sari terhadap kandungan pH, Ptersedia tanah, P tanaman kentang dan kacang faba, dan hasil panen tanaman kentang dan kacang faba dan pola tanam yang paling efektif untuk diaplikasikan berdasarkan nilai LER. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), dengan 5 perlakuan sistem tanam dengan 5 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan tumpangsari tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pH, Ptersedia tengah dan akhir musim, P jaringan kentang, P jaringan kacang faba, dan Jumlah umbi kentang. Namun, perlakuan tumpangsari berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat umbi kentang, jumlah polong dan berat polong kacang faba pertanaman. Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the vegetable commodities that are widely cultivated by farmers in the highlands. The use of intercropping reduces the risk of loss, increases land productivity, efficient use of resources, and the use of legume crops will improve soil health and fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of intercropping method on pH, soil available P, P content of potato and faba bean plants, and yield of potato and faba bean plants and the most effective cropping pattern to be applied based on the LER value. This study used a randomized block design (RBD), with 5 planting system treatments with 5 replications. The results showed that intercropping treatment had no significant effect on pH, mid- and late-season available P, P content on potato, P content on faba bean, and the number of potato tubers. However, intercropping treatment had a significant effect on the weight of potato tubers, the number of pods and the weight of faba bean pods per plant. |
