Abstract: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh job insecurity dan komunikasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dan Sobel Test. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 100 dengan partisipan karyawan millenial yang berada di kota Salatiga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (i) job insecurity tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan millenial; (ii) komunikasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan millenial; (iii) job insecurity berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial; (iv) komunikasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial; (v) kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial; (vi) kepuasan kerja tidak memediasi job insecurity terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial; (vii) kepuasan kerja tidak memediasi komunikasi terhadap turnover intention karyawan millenial. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job insecurity and communication on millennial employee turnover intention with job satisfaction as a mediating variable using path analysis and Sobel Test. This study used a sample of 100 millennial employees in the city of Salatiga. The results of this study show that: (i) job insecurity has no effect on job satisfaction of millennial employees; (ii) communication affects the job satisfaction of millennial employees; (iii) job insecurity affects the turnover intention of millennial employees; (iv) communication has no effect on millennial employee turnover intention; (v) job satisfaction has no effect on millennial employee turnover intention; (vi) job satisfaction does not mediate job insecurity on turnover intention of millennial employees; (vii) Job satisfaction does not mediate communication on turnover intention of millennial employees. |
