Abstract: This study aims to explore the impact of work mobility changes during COVID-19 on company performance and to test the moderating effect of geographical dispersion. The relationship between changes in mobility and company performance was examined in this study using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test analysis technique. A quantitative technique is used to collect data on changes in work mobility, company performance, and geographic dispersion. The research results show that company performance is not influenced by changes in work mobility because there are other factors that are more significant during the pandemic. Additionally, geographical dispersion was found not to influence the relationship between changes in work mobility and firm performance. These results show that companies, especially those that are geographically dispersed, can maintain employees productivity with a telecommuting system supported by communication via current information technology.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dari perubahan mobilitas kerja selama COVID-19 terhadap kinerja perusahaan serta menguji efek moderasi dispersi geografis. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teknik analisis uji Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan menguji hipotesis moderasi pada hubungan antara perubahan mobilitas dan kinerja perusahaan. Pengumpulan data terkait perubahan mobilitas kerja, kinerja perusahaan, dan dispersi geografis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja perusahaan tidak dipengaruhi oleh perubahan mobilitas kerja dikarenakan ada faktor-faktor lain yang lebih signifikan selama pandemi. Selain itu, dispersi geografis ditemukan tidak mempengaruhi hubungan antara perubahan mobilitas kerja dan kinerja perusahaan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan-perusahaan, khususnya yang terdispersi secara geografis dapat menjaga produktivitas karyawan dengan sistem telecommuting dibantu oleh komunikasi lewat teknologi informasi saat ini.
