Abstract: | Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana telah menyediakan layanan Wi-Fi 6 untuk menunjang kegiatan perkuliahan. Salah satu gedung yang cukup banyak aktivitas di dalamnya adalah FKIP. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas jaringan Wi-Fi, seperti tingginya packet loss dan terdapat tempat yang belum maksimal menerima sinyal Wi-Fi. Perlu dilakukan pengukuran coverage untuk mengetahui jangkauan sinyal yang dipancarkan tiap access point di FKIP dan analisis Quality of Service untuk mengukur performa Wi-Fi. Terdapat perbedaan kekuatan sinyal di beberapa area yang dipengaruhi oleh letak access point dan terdapat gangguan dari sinyal Wi- Fi lain sehingga mengganggu sinyal yang diterima pengguna. Pengukuran QoS mendapatkan perbedaan hasil yang cukup signifikan, yaitu terletak pada packet loss yang diterima. Pada pengukuran kondisi sepi di jam 16:00-18:00 WIB packet loss sebesar 0%, namun pada saat ramai sekitar jam 13:00-14:00 WIB, packet loss sebesar 86% dan termasuk kategori buruk. Pada kondisi sepi memberikan kualitas jaringan yang lebih baik dibandingkan pada kondisi ramai. Satya Wacana Christian University has provided Wi-Fi 6 services to support lecture activities. One of the buildings with a lot of activity in it is FKIP. This causes a decrease in the quality of the Wi-Fi network, such as high packet loss and there are places that have not maximized receiving Wi-Fi signals. It is necessary to measure coverage to determine the range of signals emitted by each access point in FETT and analyze Quality of Service to determine Wi-Fi performance. There are differences in signal strength in some areas that are influenced by the location of the access point and there is interference from other Wi-Fi signals that interfere with the signal received by users. QoS measurements get a significant difference in results, which lies in the packet loss received. In measuring quiet conditions at 16:00-18:00 WIB packet loss is 0%, but when it is crowded around 13:00-14:00 WIB, packet loss is 86% and is included in the bad category. In quiet conditions provide better network quality than in crowded conditions. |
