Abstract: | Kesiapan kerja penting untuk dimiliki oleh setiap mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang akan segera lulus dan memasuki dunia kerja. Kesiapan kerja mampu memfasilitasi atribut lain yang akan berhubungan dengan pekerjaan nantinya seperti kinerja dan kepuasan kerja, jenjang karir, hingga menurunkan kecemasan dalam bekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan career self-efficacy dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 115 mahasiswa yang merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas psikologi angkatan 2019 di Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 skala yaitu Work Readiness Scale (WRS) dan skala Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy-Short Form (CDMSE-SF) untuk membuktikan hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara career self-efficacy dan kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi career self-efficacy maka semakin tinggi pula kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah career self-efficacy mahasiswa semakin rendah pula kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Work readiness is important for every student, especially final-year students who will soon graduate and enter the world of work. Work readiness can facilitate other attributes that will be related to work later such as performance job satisfaction, and career paths, to reduce anxiety at work. This study aims to determine the relationship between career self-efficacy and student job readiness. The research subjects were 115 students of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2019 at Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga—sampling technique using simple random sampling. Data collection uses 2 scales, namely the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) and the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy-Short Form (CDMSE-SF) scale to prove the research hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between career self-efficacy and job readiness in college students. From these results it can be said that the higher the career self-efficacy, the higher the student's job readiness, and conversely the lower the student's career self-efficacy, the lower the student's work readiness. |
