Abstract: | PMO merupakan singkatan dari porn, masturbate, & orgasm. Sekian banyak topik yang merenggut kenikmatan seksual lewat media sosial mulai dilakukan oleh berbagai individu terutama remaja. Penelitian-penelitian terkemuka mencatat bahwa individu yang melakukan pengalaman akan eksperimen seksual di media sosial memiliki dinamika yang beragam sekaligus berbagai indikasi faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengalaman individu yang telah melakukan PMO. Dua partisipan berpartisipasi melalui snowball sampling. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap partisipasn. Analisis data dilakukan secara fenomenologis deskriptif untuk melihat subtansi pengalaman PMO dalam bentuk tema-tema. Kajian penelitian ini memperoleh 8 tema akan manifestasi melakukan PMO meliptui batasan diri, kontrol diri, perilaku eksploratif, idle curiosity, insecure, escape coping, fetish, dan kecanduan. Kepentingan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bisa menjadi upaya akan sexual self-disclosure secara lebih membangun esensi positif akan pengembangan diri. PMO stands for porn, masturbate, & orgasm. Many topics of sexual pleasure through social media are being practiced by various individuals, especially teenagers. Published studies note that individuals who experience sexual experimentation on social media have diverse dynamics as well as various indications of factors. This study aims to describe the experiences of individuals who have done PMO. Two participants participated through snowball sampling. Data were collected based on semi-structured interviews with participants. Data analysis was done phenomenologically descriptive to see the substance of pmo experience in the form of themes. This research study obtained 8 themes on the manifestation of PMO including self-limitation, self-control, explorative behavior, idle curiosity, insecurity, escape coping, fetish, and addiction. The importance of this research is how it can be an effort for sexual self-disclosure to further build the positive essence of self-development. |
