Abstract: | Work engagement yaitu dimana karyawan menunjukkan performa terbaik, karena menikmati pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Psychological capital yaitu keadaan psikologis seseorang yang mampu berpikir positif dalam dirinya, sehingga individu dapat bekerja secara optimal. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara psychological capital dengan work engagement pada karyawan di PT. BMU Balikpapan. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan pria dan wanita dengan jumlah 35 responden. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan 2 skala sebagai alat ukur yaitu: skala psychological capital dan skala work engagement. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (P<0,05), yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikasi antara psychological capital dan work engagement pada pekerja karyawan di PT. BMU Balikpapan. Adapun sumbangan efektivitas hubungan kedua variabel tersebut adalah sebesar 8.7%. Work engagement is where employees show their best performance, because they enjoy the work done. Psychological capital is the psychological state of a person who is able to think positively in himself, so that individuals can work optimally. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between psychological capital and work engagement in employees at PT. BMU Balikpapan. The subjects used in this study were male and female employees with a total of 35 respondents. This research is a quantitative research using 2 scales as measuring tools, namely: psychological capital scale and work engagement scale. The results of data analysis in this study showed a significance value of 0.000 (P<0.05), which stated that there was a significant positive relationship between psychological capital and work engagement in employee workers at PT. BMU Balikpapan. The contribution of the effectiveness of the relationship between the two variables is 8.7%. |
