Abstract: | This classroom action research aims to describe how to integrate computational thinking processes in informatics learning at Saraswati Vocational School, Salatiga to improve students' problem solving skills. The subjects of this research were 34 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained from this research indicate that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning method can improve students' computational thinking skills in informatics subjects. This is evident from the average increase in student problem solving which has increased every cycle. It can be seen that in the pre-cycle implementation there were 14 students (41.17%) increasing in the first cycle at meeting 1 to 17 students (50%) increasing again at meeting 2 to 25 students ( 73.57%) and again experienced an increase in cycle II at the 1st meeting as many as 27 students (79.49%) and at the 2nd meeting as many as 31 students (91.12%). From the research results, it can be concluded that students are categorized as being able to achieve all indicators of the strength of computational thinking for the students' problem solving skills. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana mengintegrasikan proses berpikir komputasional dalam pembelajaran informatika di SMK Saraswati Salatiga untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional thinking siswa dalam mata Pelajaran informatika. Ini terbukti dari rata-rata peningkatan problem solving siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya terlihat pada pelaksanaan pra siklus ada 14 siswa (41,17%) meningkat pada siklus I pertemuan 1 menjadi 17 siswa (50%) meningkat lagi pada pertemuan 2 menjadi 25 siswa (73,57%) dan kembali mengalami kenaikan pada siklus II pertemuan ke-1 sebanyak 27 siswa (79,49%) dan pada pertemuan ke-2 sebanyak 31 siswa (91,12%). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa dikategorikan mampu mencapai semua indikator kekuatan computational thinking untuk keterampilan memecahkan masalah pada siswa itu sendiri |
