Pola Asuh dan Regulasi Emosi pada Remaja Akhir

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh otoritatif dan regulasi emosi remaja akhir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala emotional regulation questionnaire untuk mengukur regulasi emosi dan skala parenting style questionnaire (PSQ) untuk mengukur pola asuh otoritatif. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 129 remaja akhir. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu korelasi product moment Spearman rho, dengan memperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar r= 0.105 dengan nilai signifikansi =0.119 (p > 0.05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoritatif dan regulasi emosi. Makin tinggi pola asuh otoritatif maka makin tinggi regulasi emosi remaja akhir dan sebaliknya makin rendah pola asuh otoritaif maka makin rendah regulasi emosi remaja akhir. Sejauh ini dalam sudut penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh otoritatif sangat berdampak pada regulasi remaja akhir.

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between authoritative parenting and emotional regulation in late adolescents. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a correlational design. This research instrument uses the emotional regulation questionnaire scale to measure emotional regulation and the parenting style questionnaire (PSQ) scale to measure authoritative parenting patterns. The participants involved in this research were 129 late adolescents. The data analysis technique used is Spearman rho product moment correlation, by obtaining a correlation coefficient of r = 0.105 with a significance value = 0.119 (p > 0.05), which means there is a significant positive relationship between authoritative parenting and emotional regulation. The higher the authoritative parenting style, the higher the emotional regulation of late adolescents and conversely, the lower the authoritative parenting pattern, the lower the emotional regulation of late adolescents. So far, from this research point of view, it can be concluded that authoritative parenting has a big impact on the regulation of late adolescents
