The determinant of the success of the formation of the personality of students in learning science is to foster interest and self-concept through an interesting learning model. So that research was conducted to determine the effect of interest in learning science of grade III students in learning using Problem Based Learning and Contextual Teaching and Learning models. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Research or pseudo experimental research. In this study, the Quasi Experimental Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-test test in the experimental class and control class, the value is 0.013 and 0.012. Then Sig (2- tailed) <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this case, the use of the Problem Based Learning model affects students' interest in learning Indonesian learning content in class III on learning interest with the results of the t-test resulting in a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.013 <0.05
