Abstract: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran khususnya mengenai keaktifan belajar siswa. Melalui perbaikan proses tersebut diharapkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya IPA juga meningkat. Dari hasil survei awal diketahui bahwa rata-rata tingkat keaktifan siswa kelas 5 SD Kandangan 04 selama pembelajaran tergolong rendah yaitu hanya 43,33 persen. Hal ini juga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar IPA, dimana nilai rata-rata hanya 53,33 dan persentase capaian KKM hanya 71%. Solusi yang dipilih untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah penerapan model kooperatif tipe STAD. Model ini dipilih karena sintaksnya menjadikan siswa aktif. Kegiatan seperti ini dapat memicu siswa untuk berprestasi karena model ini memang mengarahkan siswa untuk berprestasi melalui kerjasama kelompok. PTK dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes dan non tes. Sebelum digunakan, instrumen telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data keaktifan siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata pada pra siklus sebesar 47,33 persentase 90% berada pada kategori rendah, siklus 1 nilai rata rata aktivitas 63,66 persentase 95% berada pada kategori sedang, siklus 2 nilai rata-rata 79 persentase 80% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Sedangkan hasil analisis data hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus diperoleh nilai rata-rata 53,3 persentase 71% berada pada kategori sangat kurang, siklus 1 nilai rata rata 57,8 persentase 76%, berada pada kategori cukup, siklus 2 nilai rata-rata 81,6 dengan presentase 72% berada pada kategori tinggi. disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA kelas 5 SD Negeri Kandangan 04.
Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the learning process, especially regarding student learning activity. Through this process improvement, it is hoped that student learning outcomes, especially science, will also increase. From the results of the initial survey, it was found that the average level of activity in grade 5 students at SD Kandangan 04 during learning was relatively low, namely only 43.33. This also has an impact on low science learning outcomes, where the average score is only 53.33 and the percentage of KKM achievements is only 71%. The solution chosen to overcome this problem is the application of the STAD type cooperative model. This model was chosen because the syntax makes students active. Activities like this can trigger students to excel because this model indeed directs students to excel through group collaboration. CAR is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Data collection instruments in the form of tests and non-tests. Prior to use, the instrument has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of student activity data analysis, the average value in the pre-cycle was 47.33, 90% percentage was in the low category, cycle 1 average value of activity was 63.66 percentage, 95% was in the medium category, cycle 2 average value 79 percentage 80% are in the very high category. While the results of data analysis of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle obtained an average value of 53.3 percentage 71% is in the very less category, cycle 1 average value is 57.8 percentage 76%, is in the sufficient category, cycle 2 the average value is an average of 81.6 with a percentage of 72% is in the high category. it was concluded that the use of the STAD model could increase the liveliness and learning outcomes of science class 5 SD Negeri Kandangan 04.
