Evaluasi Usability dan Perancangan User Interface Pada Sistem Informasi Akademik di SDN Jombor

Abstract

Proses akademik memiliki peran penting dalam berjalannya proses bisnis di suatu instansi. Cara kerja yang efektif, teliti, dan terbuka harus dimiliki oleh para guru. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, para guru tidak terlepas dari administrasi akademik. SDN Jombor sudah memiliki sistem untuk membantu para guru dalam penginputan nilai. Namun terdapat beberapa kendala dalam proses bisnis yang berjalan saat ini, SDN Jombor belum memiliki Sistem Informasi Akademik, dimana kurangnya efisiensi dalam pembuatan administrasi akademik seperti pembentukan jadwal pelajaran, pembentukan kelas, serta pengumuman sekolah hanya di bagikan di grup Whatsapp orang tua dimana pesan pengumuman tersebut bisa tertimbun oleh pesan-pesan baru. Metode pengembangan sistem yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan prototype. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah desain user interface sistem informasi akademik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di SD. Hasil penelitian ini bisa menjadi landasan pembangunan sistem informasi yang ada di SDN Jombor untuk kedepannya

Academic processes play an important role in the running of business processes in an institution. Teachers must have an effective, thorough, and open way of working. In carrying out their duties, teachers cannot be separated from academic administration. SDN Jombor already has a system to assist teachers in inputting grades. However, there are several obstacles in the current business process, SDN Jombor does not yet have an Academic Information System, where there is a lack of efficiency in making academic administration such as the formation of lesson schedules, class formation, and school announcements are only shared in the Whatsapp group of parents where the announcement message can be buried by new messages. The system development method that will be used in this research uses prototype. This research produces an academic information system user interface design that is in accordance with the needs of elementary schools. The results of this study can be the basis for the development of information systems at SDN Jombor in the future.
