Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk buku cerita interaktif berbasis STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) pada pembelajaran matematika materi bangun datar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas 3 di sekolah dasar negeri 02 Bringin. Media ini dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan STEAM, sehingga penggunaan media melibatkan sintaksis analisis, sintesis, pengambilan kesimpulan, dan strategi serta taktik pengorganisasian. Keunggulan dari karya inovatif ini berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Media pembelajaran STEAM Activity: The Three Sides of My Family dinyatakan layak oleh 3 ahli, yaitu ahli sastra anak dengan persentase 91% kategori sangat bagus, ahli media dengan persentase 96% kategori sangat bagus, dan ahli materi dengan persentase 82% kategori sangat bagus. Buku STEAM Activity dinyatakan praktis oleh siswa di SD Negeri Bringin 02 dengan persentase 100% memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Dengan menggunakan uji independent samples t-test memperoleh keefektifan dengan hasil signifikan sebesar 0,013, sehingga buku STEAM Activity efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa
The research aims of this study are to develop the storybook STEAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) for mathematic learning to improve critical thinking skills in grade 3 students in Elementary Public School Bringin 02. This media was developed based on the STEAM approach, so the use of media through the syntax of analyzing, synthesizing, making conclusions, and organizing strategies and tactics. The excellence of this innovative work focuses on improving critical thinking skills and scientific literacy skills. The STEAM Activity: The Three Sides of My Family learning media is deemed suitable by three experts, including a children's literature expert with a 91% rating in the excellent category, a media expert with a 96% rating in the excellent category, and a content expert with an 82% rating in the excellent category. The STEAM Activity book is considered practical by students at Public School Bringin 02, receiving a 100% rating in the excellent category. Using an independent samples ttest, the effectiveness is found to be significant at 0.013, indicating that the STEAM Activity book is effectively used to enhance students' critical thinking skills
