Abstract: Latar Belakang : Pada tahun 2022 terutama data per akhir Maret prevalensi kejadiannya dan menyebabkan kondisi pandemi ini telah terkonfirmasi sebanyak 5.589.179 kasus positif di Indonesia, di Jawa Tengah sebanyak 619.879 Kasus positif, sementara di Kota Salatiga per Maret tahun 2022 sendiri terdapat 10.954 kasus terkonfirmasi. Kondisi Pandemi ini menyebabkan berbagai perubahan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat terutama pada gaya hidup masyarakat Indonesia, tidak terkecuali kebiasaan pola makan. Salah satu perubahan tersebut disebabkan adanya kebijakan untuk tetap berada di rumah dan membatasi kegiatan di luar rumah.Tujuan: menggambarkan kebiasaan makan mahasiswa asal Papua di Salatiga selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kombinasi metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang merupakan pengambilan sampel penelitian berdasarkan kriteria. Kriteria partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa papua. Jumlah partisipan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 10 partisipan mahasiswa Papua. Instrumen penelitian ini mengacu pada Food Frequensi Quisinoer (FFQ).. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan mix method, yang artinya menggunakan dua metode penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) sebagian besar termasuk dalam kategori obesitas sebanyak 7 orang (70 %) yang disebabkan oleh kebiasaan pola makan mahasiswa Papua mengkonsumsi makanan siap saji seperti mie instan, kentang goreng dan ayam goreng. One of these changes was due to the policy to stay at home and limit activities outside the home. Purpose: describes the eating habits of students from Papua in Salatiga during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a combination of quantitative methods and qualitative methods. Data collection techniques by way of interviews. Participants in this study were obtained using a purposive sampling technique, which is a research sample based on criteria. The criteria for participants in this study were Papuan students. The number of participants in this study were 10 Papuan student participants. The research instrument refers to the Food Frequency Quisinoer (FFQ). The analysis technique in this study uses the mix method, which means using two research methods, namely quantitative and qualitative. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that based on the Body Mass Index (BMI) most of them are in the obese category as many as 7 people (70%) which is caused by the eating habits of Papuan students consuming fast food such as instant noodles, french fries and fried chicken.
