Peningkatan Pemahaman Sifat-Sifat Bangun Datar dengan Menggunakan Media Slide Suara pada Siswa Kelas III SDN Jembangan 2 Plupuh Sragen Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012

Abstract

This research used the classroom action research. It involved four cycles, and each cycle included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were the students in Grade III of the school as many as 25 persons. The data of the research were obtained from the teacher and students. They were gathered through observation, test, and documentation. The data of the research were validated in term of content validity, and were analyzed by using the interactive analysis technique of analysis comprising four components, namely: data gathering, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Phorto the treatment, the average score of the students is 47.18 with the classical completeness of 12%. Following the treatment, the average scores of the students become 58.78 with the classical completeness of 32% in Cycle I, 61.22 with the classical completeness of 36% in Cycle II, 75.90 with the classical completeness of 72% in Cycle III, and 83.38 with the classical completeness of 88% in Cycle IV. The result of the research shows that the application of the slide media can improve the understanding on Flat Field Structure Properties of the students in grade III of State Primary School Jembangan 2 of Plupuh, Sragen in Academic Year 2011/2012.
