Pengetahuan Keluarga Tentang Tuberkulosis Paru di Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Kota Salatiga

Abstract

Latar belakang Persoalan Tb di Indonesia telah mengalami penurunan yang signifikan, namun tidak berarti persoalan penyakit ini telah selesai di Indonesia. Salah satu komponen dalam penanganan tuberkulosis adalah keterlibatan komunitas, dalam hal ini keluarga sebagai kelompok terkecil dalam masyarakat Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pengetahuan keluarga pasien dengan Tb tentang penyakit , engobatan dan pencegahan di Balai Kesehatan Masyarakat Kota Salatiga (BKPM) Salatiga. metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif deskritif. Pengumpulan data mengunakan kuesioner. Kepada keluarga pasien Tb sebanyak 65 orang berdasarkan total sampling, berusia 20-50 tahun pada Juni-Juli 2023. Data yang terkumpul kemudian ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan program Excel dan ditampilkan menggunakan tabel frekuensi. Hasil penelitian Tingkat pengetahuan keluarga meliputi dua aspek yaitu pengobatan dengan hasil tertinggi sebesar 69% (45 responden) dan pencegahan dengan hasil tertinggi 88% (57 responden). Pengetahuan keluarga mengenai pengobatan Tb dengan hasil tertinggi sebesar 82% (53 seperti adanya konseling mengenai penyakit Tb. Pencegahan dilakukan dengan pemakaian masker karena penularan Tb adalah melalui udara. Kesimpulan Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perlu adanya peningkatan promosi Kesehatan dengan metode yang inovatif seperti penggunaan aplikasi kesehatan dan sesuai dengan kebutuahan klien yakni mengenai penyakit dan pengobatan serta mempertahankan keterlibatan Keluarga sebagai pengawas minum obat dan pendamping saat pasien melakukan kontrol kesehatan karena keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam Upaya kesembuhan pasien.

Background The problem of Tb in Indonesia has decreased significantly, but it does not mean that the problem of this disease has been resolved in Indonesia. One of the components of handling tuberculosis is community involvement. In this case, the family is the smallest group in society. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of families of patients with Tb about the disease, treatment and prevention at the Salatiga City Public Health Center (BKPM) Salatiga. The research method used was quantitative descriptive. Data were collected using a questionnaire. To the families of patients with Tb, as many as 65 people based on total sampling, aged 20-50 years, in June-July 2023. The data collected were tabulated and analyzed using the Excel program and displayed using frequency tables. The study's results present the level of family knowledge includes treatment, with the highest result of 69% (45 respondents) and prevention, with the highest result of 88% (57 respondents). This study presents the knowledge of Family about Tb treatment with the highest result of 82% (53 such as the existence of counselling about Tb disease. Prevention is done by wearing masks because Tb transmission is through the air. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that most families have good knowledge about the prevention and treatment of pulmonary Tb, but some family respondents have moderate knowledge about the types of Tb bacteria. Conclusion This study found that there is a need to increase health promotion with innovative methods such as the use of health applications and in accordance with client needs, namely regarding illness and treatment and maintaining family involvement as a supervisor of taking medication and companions when patients carry out health control because family has an important role in patient recovery efforts.
