Abstract: Hasil belajar matematika siswa III SDN Bergaskidul 03 masih terbilang rendah. Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang menurut siswa paling sulit dipahami dan kurang adanya minat siswa dalam belajar matematika. Hal ini terjadi karena suasana belajar yang kurang menarik bagi siswa,dan kurangnya kreatifitas pengajar sehingga pembelajaran terlihat tidak menarik. Kurangnya ketrampilan pengajar dalam pembelajaran menyebabkan siswa menjadi malas dan tidak bersemangat dalam mengkuti pembelajaran yang membuat hasil belajar siswa menjadi kurang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan Inquiry guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, dan untuk mengetahui manakah yang lebih efektif diantara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation(GI) dan Inquiry guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dan Inquiry pada siswa kelas III SD Gugus Kartini. ABSTRACT The mathematics learning outcomes of students III at SDN Bergaskidul 03 are still relatively low. The low student mathematics learning outcomes are caused by several factors, including mathematics being one of the subjects that according to students is the most difficult to understand and students' lack of interest in learning mathematics. This happens because the learning atmosphere is less attractive for students, and the lack of teacher creativity so that learning looks uninteresting. Lack of teacher skills in learning causes students to become lazy and unenthusiastic in participating in learning which results in poor student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to prove the effectiveness of applying the Group Investigation (GI) and Inquiry type cooperative learning models to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students in following the learning process, and to find out which is more effective among the Group Investigation (GI) type cooperative learning models. and Inquiry to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students in following the learning process. In this research it can be concluded that there are differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes when implementing the Group Investigation and Inquiry type cooperative learning model in class III students at Gugus Kartini Elementary School.
