Abstract: Seiring berkembangnya teknologi khususnya dalam era digital saat ini, dapat mudah untuk mendapatkan banyak informasi sehingga tidak menutup kemungkinan mendapatkan berita yang tidak benar. Berita hoax dapat menyebabkan penyebaran informasi yang salah, memicu ketakutan, dan kepanikan. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai cara dasar untuk memahami dan membedakan berita hoax agar dapat untuk memperkecil penyebaran berita hoax melalui media Board Game.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang Board Game sebagai sarana media pembelajaran membedakan berita hoax atau fakta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Mixed Methode Research yang dibuat dengan strategi penelitian linear. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah siswa menjadi lebih teliti saat membaca, kritis dan paham bagaimana cara dasar untuk membedakan berita hoax.
As technology develops, especially in the current digital era, it is easy for us to get a lot of information so it is possible that we get news that is not true. hoax news can lead to the spread of misinformation, triggering fear and fear. This research discusses the basic ways to understand and differentiate between hoax news in order to minimize exposure to hoax news through board game media. The aim of this research is to design the hoax Hunt board game as a means of learning media about distinguishing between hoax news and facts. This research uses a Mixed Method which was created with a cyclic research strategy. The results obtained are that students become more careful when reading, critical and understanding of the basic ways to distinguish hoax news.
