This research aims to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning learning models on elementary school students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics. The type of research used in this research is Meta Analysis research. The results of the Effect Size test show that the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning learning models have a very large influence on critical thinking skills in mathematics. If you look at the test results of the Ancova Problem Based Learning learning model, the average value is 83.4440 and the average value of the Discovery Learning learning model is 65.86650. So it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model is more effective when compared to the Discovery Learning model in terms of elementary school students' mathematical critical thinking abilities.
