Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal psikologis dan kepuasan kerja terhadap intensi job hopping dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel intervening pada generasi milenial yang bekerja di sektor teknologi informasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengambil 175 responden dari generasi milenial yang bekerja dalam bidang teknologi informasi di Indonesia. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan PLS (Partial Least Square) dengan program smartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal psikologis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap intensi job hopping, modal psikologis berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap intensi job hopping, kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap intensi job hopping, employee engagement memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara modal psikologis terhadap intensi job hopping, dan employee engagement tidak memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap intensi job hopping. This research aims to determine the influence of psychological capital and job satisfaction on job hopping intentions with employee engagement as an intervening variable in the millennial generation who work in the information technology sector in Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach by taking 175 respondents from the millennial generation who work in the information technology sector in Indonesia. Testing was carried out using PLS (Partial Least Square) with the smartPLS program. The research results show that psychological capital has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has a negative and significant effect on job hopping intentions, psychological capital has a negative and significant effect on job hopping intentions, job satisfaction has no effect on job hopping intentions, employee engagement partially mediates the relationship between psychological capital and job hopping intentions, and employee engagement does not partially mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and job hopping intentions. |
