Pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dan Proporsi Dewan Komisaris Independen Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan pada Perusahaan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI)

Abstract

Nilai perusahaan dapat meningkat karena dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah perusahaan yang memperhatikan mengenai aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup melalui kinerja Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dan proporsi dewan komisaris independen yang tinggi sehingga dinilai lebih objektif dalam mengawasi keberlangsungan perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dan proporsi dewan komisaris independen terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Jumlah observasi sebanyak 440 sampel pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2014-2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dan proporsi dewan komisaris berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Company value can increase through several factors. One factor is company concer to environmental sustainability through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. Another factor is board of comissioner. High proportion of independent commissioners considered to be more objective in overseeing the company's sustainability. The aims of this study was to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and the proportion of independent commissioners using multiple linear regression. The number of samples was 440 observations of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2022 period. The results showed that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and the proportion of the board of commissioners had a positive effect on firm value.
