Title: Komponen Vokasional Dalam Pendidikan

Abstract: For quite a long time legal education has been cursed by the "theory-practice " dichotomy. On one side, it is argued that legal education is and should always be a part of a university-based education, in which theory is the dominant subject. On the other side, there is also point of views supporting the idea that legal education should be vocational instead of theoretical. This paper is an effort to discuss vocational components in legal education. The author believes that legal education is necessarily about practice, and thus vocational components could not be thrown out of the legal education system. However, it is also contended that instead of dealing with the neverending "theory-practice" dichotomy, law schools should focussed more on "professionalism.
