Implementation of Streamline Realtime Stock Using Autoscaling Through Google Cloud Pub/Sub at PT XYZ

Abstract

Streamlining updates and ensuring accurate, real-time input of stock data are vital for the smooth operation of retail business at PT XYZ. The previous system suffered from low availability and lacked scalability. Implementing real-time stock streamlining with automatic scaling and Google Cloud Pub/Sub can help achieve this goal. The system utilizes Google Cloud Pub/Sub to distribute stock information in real-time. Auto-scaling adjusts the number of servers processing stock data automatically. Research results show that the system can handle high workloads with an average response time of 198 milliseconds per thread. The average message publication rate is 91% per second, the retrieval rate is 45% per second, and the acknowledgment rate is 15% per second. The time to increase the number of instances ranges from 8-10 minutes while decreasing the number of instances takes around 8-17 minutes.

Menyederhanakan pembaruan dan input data stok yang akurat dan real-time sangat penting bagi bisnis retail PT XYZ. Sistem sebelumnya memiliki ketersediaan rendah dan tidak memiliki skalabilitas. Implementasi streamline real-time stok dengan penskalaan otomatis dan Google Cloud Pub/Sub dapat membantu mencapai tujuan ini. Sistem menggunakan Google Cloud Pub/Sub untuk mendistribusikan informasi stok secara real-time. Auto-scaling menyesuaikan jumlah server yang memproses data stok secara otomatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menangani beban kerja tinggi dengan kecepatan respons rata-rata 198 milidetik per thread. Rata-rata tingkat penerbitan pesan adalah 91% per detik, tingkat pengambilan pesan adalah 45% per detik, dan tingkat pengakuan pesan adalah 15% per detik.
