Abstract: Bilangan bulat merupakan bagian penting dari kurikulum matematika di tingkat sekolah dasar. Namun fakta di lapangan menunjukan bahwa di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama, peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi tersebut. Kesulitan ini terjadi karena pesrta didik bingung dalam membedakan antara tanda positif dan negative saat melakukan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan. Untuk itu perlu adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika, salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau RnD dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaituAnalysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 2 Suruh yang berjumlah 30 orang. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan presentase rata-rata penilaian sebesar 91,3% (Sangat Valid), sedangkan validasi ahli media sebesar 91,9% (Sangat Valid). Media pembelajaran EMBIBU setelah diuji cobakan kepada subjek penelitian memperoleh rata-rata penilaian sebesar 89,8% yang artinya media pembelajaran ini termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Berdasarkan uji parametrik dari hasil belajar peserta didik ranah kognitif sebagai indikator dari keefektifan didapatkan hasil bahwa media pembelajaran EMBIBU dinilai efektif dalam membantu peserta didik memahami materi yang dipelajari.
Integers are an important part of the mathematics curriculum at the elementary school level. However, the fact on the ground shows that at the Junior High School level, students still have difficulty understanding the material. This difficulty arises because students are confused in distinguishing between positive and negative signs when performing addition and subtraction operations. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in mathematics education, one of which is by utilizing appropriate learning media. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 30 students of class VII E at SMP Negeri 2 Suruh. Based on the validation results from the material experts, the average assessment percentage obtained was 91.3% (Very Valid), while the media expert validation was 91.9% (Very Valid). The EMBIBU learning media, after being tested on research subjects, obtained an average assessment of 89.8%, which means that this learning media falls into the category of "Very Practical." Based on the parametric test results of students' cognitive domain learning outcomes as an indicator of effectiveness, it was found that the EMBIBU learning media was assessed as effective in helping students understand the material being studied.
