Abstract: | Eco-enzyme adalah hasil fermentasi dengan fungsi beragam yang dapat digunakan sebagai pembersih ramah lingkungan. Eco-enzyme juga dipercaya dapat membersihkan badan air seperti sungai dan bahkan dapat digunakan sebagai pengolah limbah untuk mengurangi beban pencemar organik yang terkandung didalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh eco-enzyme yang diberikan dalam beberapa dosis dalam mengurangi beban pencemar dalam limbah cair tempe yang dapat dilihat dari parameter Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) dan Amonia (NH3). Terdapat 5 perlakuan eco-enzyme pada limbah cair industri tempe, yaiut campuran eco-enzyme dan limbah pada konsentrasi 0%, 1%, 2%, 4% dan 8%. Perlakuan pengolahan limbah dengan eco-enzyme dilakukan selama 30 hari. Sampel diambil pada hari 0, 10, 20 dan 30 untuk dilakukan pengukuran kadar COD, TDS dan Amonia. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, terlihat bahwa perlakuan eco-enzyme pada limbah cair tempe mampu mendegradasi limbah cair tempe dilihat dari berkurangnya beban pencemar (COD, TDS dan amonia) dalam limbah cair tempe. Namun konsentrasi yang secara signifikan menurunkan beban pencemar dalam limbah cair tempe adalah konsentrasi 1% untuk COD, serta 8% untuk amonia. Eco-enzyme is a fermentation product with various functions that can be used as an environmentally friendly cleaner. Eco-enzymes are also believed to be able to clean water bodies such as rivers and can even be used as a waste processor to reduce the load of organic pollutants contained therein. This research aims to see the effect of eco-enzyme given in several doses in reducing the pollutant load in tempe liquid waste which can be seen from the parameters Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) and Ammonia (NH3). There are 5 eco-enzyme treatments for liquid waste from the tempe industry, namely a mixture of eco-enzyme and waste at concentrations of 0%, 1%, 2%, 4% and 8%. Waste processing treatment with eco-enzyme is carried out for 30 days. Samples were taken on days 0, 10, 20 and 30 to measure COD, TDS and Ammonia levels. The research results obtained show that eco-enzyme treatment of tempeh liquid waste is able to degrade tempeh liquid waste as seen from the reduction in pollutant loads (COD, TDS and ammonia) in tempeh liquid waste. However, the concentration that significantly reduces the pollutant load in tempe liquid waste is a concentration of 1% for COD, and 8% for ammonia. |
