Issue Date: 11-Jun-2024
Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi evaluasi pendidikan karakter berbasis Google Workspace untuk meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua siswa di TK Wira Putra.
This research aims to develop a character education evaluation information system based on Google Workspace to increase the participation of parents of students at Wira Putra Kindergarten. The method used is Research and Development with data collection through interviews, observation, document study, FGD, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Mile and Huberman model for qualitative data, and descriptive percentages for quantitative data. Data validation uses triangulation of sources and techniques for qualitative data, and test validation involves expert judgment for quantitative data. The research results show that Wira Putra Kindergarten has carried out character education evaluations through various programs such as parenting, sharing with parents, assessment questionnaires, and teacher anecdotal notes. However, this assessment technique has weaknesses such as requiring a long time and problems with parent participation. The validation results show that the information system developed received a good assessment from IT experts (88.61%) and character education experts (84.65%), and was included in the good category according to users (86.09% from schools, 76.70% from the student's parents). Trials show that this product can increase parent participation in assessing student character and facilitate the automatic processing of assessments by the system. Suggestions for future researchers are to pay attention to parents' adaptation in using new technology. Keywords: Information Systems, Assessment, Character Education, Google Workspace
