Integrasi Google Service Pada Sistem Informasi Laboran Fakultas Teknologi Informasi UKSW

Abstract

The Laboran Information System is a web-based application developed to manage room data and room bookings. In handling this data, laboratory technicians also utilize various Google Services such as Google Calendar and Google Mail separately. The separate use of the laboratory information system application and several Google Services often leads to confusion and errors in room data management and bookings due to differing workflows. This research aims to integrate Google Services with the laboratory information system into a single workflow. Extreme Programming methodology is employed in this development, focusing on object orientation and minimal development team. The result of this research is the integration of the laboratory information system with Google Services such as Google Single Sign-On (SSO), Google Calendar, and Google Mail. Through this integration with Google Services, access and management of data from these various services are enabled through a single integrated application.

Sistem Informasi Laboran merupakan aplikasi berbasis web yang dikembangkan untuk mengelola data ruangan dan peminjaman ruangan. Dalam mengelola data tersebut laboran juga menggunakan beberapa Google Service seperti Google Calendar dan Google Mail yang terpisah. Penggunaan aplikasi sistem informasi laboran dan beberapa Google Service secara terpisah seringkali menyebabkan kebingungan dan kesalahan dalam pengelolaan data ruangan serta peminjaman karena alur kerja yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan Google Service dengan sistem informasi laboran dalam satu alur kerja yang sama.Metode Extreme Programming digunakan dalam pengembangan ini, dengan fokus pada orientasi objek dan tim pengembangan minimal. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah integrasi aplikasi Sistem Informasi Laboran dengan Google Service seperti Google SSO (Single Sign On), Google Calendar, dan Google Mail.Dari integrasi dengan Google tersebut Service memungkinkan akses dan pengelolaan data dari berbagai layanan tersebut melalui satu aplikasi terpadu.
