Abstract: | Dinanti Batik, didirikan pada tahun 2020, menghadapi tantangan dalam memperluas pasar di luar Jawa Timur dan meningkatkan penjualan. Solusi yang diajukan adalah pengembangan website sebagai media pemasaran. Hal ini didasarkan pada pertumbuhan internet yang signifikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merancang user interface (UI) dan user experience (UX) website Dinanti Batik menggunakan metode Design Thinking dan menguji tingkat usability-nya dengan metode Jacob Nielsen. Melalui pendekatan mixed method dengan pendekatan cyclic strategy, data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi pustaka. Design Thinking membantu dalam memahami kebutuhan pengguna dan mengembangkan solusi desain yang efektif. Prototype website yang dihasilkan diuji berdasarkan lima variabel usability menurut Jacob Nielsen, yaitu: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, dan satisfaction. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah website dengan tingkat usability 'Baik' dengan persentase keseluruhan 75,2%. Variabel learnability memperoleh 74,6%, efficiency 72,6%, memorability 74%, errors 75,8%, dan satisfaction 79%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat dilakukan pengembangan lanjut terhadap website Dinanti Batik agar dapat membantu dalam pertumbuhan bisnis Dinanti Batik. Dinanti Batik, established in 2020, faces challenges in expanding its market beyond East Java and increasing sales. The proposed solution is the development of a website as a marketing medium, based on the significant growth of the internet in Indonesia. This research designs the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the Dinanti Batik website using the Design Thinking method and tests its usability level using the Jacob Nielsen method. Through a mixed method approach with a cyclic strategy, primary data was collected through questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data was obtained from literature reviews. Design Thinking aids in understanding user needs and developing effective design solutions. The website prototype produced was tested based on five usability variables according to Jacob Nielsen: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. The research results is a website with a 'Good' level of usability, with an overall percentage of 75.2%. The learnability variable scored 74.6%, efficiency 72.6%, memorability 74%, errors 75.8%, and satisfaction 79%. From these findings, further development of the Dinanti Batik website is expected to assist in the growth of the Dinanti Batik business. |
