Abstract: | Pelajaran bahasa Inggris dianggap sebagai hal yang mengerikan dan menyulitkan oleh sebagian siswa. Siswa cenderung kurang memahami arti dari kosakata dalam bahasa Inggris dan kurang optimalnya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran, menyababkan siswa cenderung pasif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard yang akan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Tegalrejo 4 Salatiga. Penelitian akan menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research & Development. Prosedur yang dalam penelitian yaitu Borg & Gall yang telah dikembangkan oleh Sukmadinata dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation). Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu analisi data kuatitatif dan deskriptif. Penelitian memperolah uji validasi materi sebesar 100%, sedangkan uji validasi ahli media memperoleh skor 91,6%, dan uji validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh skor 85%. Dari hasil uji validasi ahli, maka media termasuk dalam kategori “sangat tinggi”, sehingga media yang dikembangkan “sangat layak” untuk diimplementasikan. Hasil uji coba di sekolah memperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest 6,00 dan post-test memperoleh 11,20. Dari hasil uji coba dapat terlihat bahwa peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran flashcard. English lesson is considered scary and difficult by some students. Students tend not to understand the meaning of vocabulary in English and the use of media in learning is less than optimal, causing students to tend to be passive in learning. This research was conducted to develop flashcard learning media which will be implemented at SD Negeri Tegalrejo 4 Salatiga. The research will use the Research & Development type of research. The procedure used in the research is Borg & Gall which has been developed by Sukmadinata using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation) model. The techniques used in the research are quantitative and descriptive data analysis. The research obtained a material validation test of 100%, while the media expert validation test obtained a score of 91.6%, and the linguist validation test obtained a score of 85%. From the results of the expert validation test, the media is included in the "very high" category, so the media developed is "very feasible" to be implemented. The results of the trial at school obtained an average pretest score of 6.00 and a post-test score of 11.20. From the trial results, it can be seen that there was an increase before and after the use of flashcard learning media. |
